IPDC Team Visits SHRIM, De La Salle�College of Saint Benilde

On October 9, 2025, the Instituto Profissional de Desenvolvimento Canossiano (IPDC) team visited the School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management (SHRIM) at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) in Malate, Manila. SHRIM is widely recognized as one of the leading hospitality schools in the Philippines, known for its excellence in hotel, restaurant, and institutional management education.

The IPDC delegation was warmly received by Ms. Marie Paz A. Castro, DBA, Dean of SHRIM, together with her team: Dr. Frederick Ang, Chef Jester Arellano, and Dr. Glenn Ricaforte. Their hospitality and openness created a welcoming atmosphere that allowed for meaningful exchanges and valuable insights.

The visit provided the IPDC team with an opportunity to observe SHRIM’s innovative practices, academic approaches, and holistic vision of hospitality education. It was a day of inspiration, reflection, and appreciation for the dedication SHRIM demonstrates in shaping future leaders in the hospitality industry.

Although the visit was informal, it left the IPDC team enriched and motivated to continue its Canossian mission, now further inspired by Lassalian spirituality and values.
